About the Artist
Evette’s love of textiles naturally evolved into silk painting, motivated by her frustration with limited fabric choices in costuming. Silk painting quickly became her primary artistic outlet. Her work has earned international acclaim, winning First Prize in the 2021 Silk Painter’s International competition for Solace and a People’s Choice Honorable Mention in 2022 for Goodbye Dad.
You may find more of her silk paintings at evetteallerdingsstudio.com.
