Author Laurie Ann Thompson will share creative writing steps on how to come up with an idea and will give tips on how to continue to become better writers.

Laurie Ann Thompson grew up in the fields and forests of northern Wisconsin and now lives between the mountains and the sea in Washington state. A volunteer naturalist and climate advocate, she writes to help her readers (and herself) better understand the world we all share and make it a better place for all. Discovery Club Series
Discovery Club is a weekly summer program for kids in grades K–5 and their families/caregivers. From art to science, kids will find many ways to have fun, meet new friends, and try new things. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
