About the teaching artist for September 15, October 20, and November 17 events:
Jessie Young is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and maker originally from Port Angeles. For more than 20 years, she has been dancing, performing, teaching, and making work, from growing up on the Olympic Peninsula to creating and performing in New York City and around the country. Her work moves between dance, drawing, writing, music, and DIY forms of making. Jessie has been making zines since she was a teenager.
Peninsula Performs! provides artistic instruction for a Teen Tuesday event each month. This program's supplies are generously funded by the Port Angeles Friends of the Library.
