Attend a reception, documentary screening, and panel discussion about responses to mental health.
Join NOLS for a free public reception, documentary screening, and panel discussion related to the National Library of Medicine's traveling exhibit, Care & Custody: Past Responses to Mental Health.
Representatives from the Washington chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will present a short panel discussion following the film screening of Bedlam, the first major documentary to explore the crisis in care of severely mentally-ill patients in America. Attendees will be able to view the traveling exhibit banners inside the library after the discussion.
The exhibit, Care & Custody: Past Responses to Mental Health, will be on display at the Port Angeles Main Library from March 10-29. The exhibit will then be on view at Peninsula College at Forks from April 2-18. Explore the digital gallery online or visit the National Library of Medicine website to find out more.
